We accept all credit/debit cards via Peach Payments and A+ Account cards with Refinery, Ayana, Dunns, Shoe City, Tekkie Town, Ackermans, and PEP cards.

Free delivery on online orders?

Enjoy free delivery on all orders in South Africa when spending R550 or more. 

How can I track my order?

Track your order via our tracking page. Use the tracking number from your order confirmation email. If you need help, contact our customer service team.

Do I have to create an account, and what are the benefits if I do?

You don’t need an account to browse or add items to your basket, but you must register to make a purchase.

Benefits of an account include:

  • Fast checkout
  • Save delivery addresses
  • Track orders
  • View past orders
  • Get updates on new drops and promotions via newsletter

How do I unsubscribe from your emails?

Click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email from us. Once you have clicked unsubscribe, you will no longer receive marketing emails from us.

Do you deliver to my country?

Currently, we only deliver within South Africa.

What payment methods are available when shopping online?

Will I be charged VAT/GST?

Prices on our site include applicable sales tax.

When will I know my order was successful?

After payment is made on our verified website, you’ll get an email confirming your order. A second email will follow when your order has left the warehouse & en route to you.

When is my card charged?

We get bank authorization and charge your card when you place your order, before dispatch. You’ll receive an email confirming your purchase and charge.

Why didn’t my card payment go through?

We can’t always say why payments fail. The card payment process involves both our systems and your bank. Please ensure your card details are correct and the card is valid. If issues persist, try another card or check with your bank.

Does Refinery have an account card?

Yes, Refinery offers an account card that can be used when shopping at Refinery, Ayana, Dunns, Shoe City & Ackermans. 

You can apply for your A+ card  in-store or online here

A+ Account card will work on online & in-store purchases. 

If I register, will I automatically get marketing emails from you?

If you register, you'll only get marketing emails if you opt in to receive marketing communication.

We never share your details.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails anytime. You will still receive operational emails from Refinery if you purchased something online.

Can I use my Account Card online?

Yes, you can use your Refinery, Shoe City, Dunns, Tekkie Town, Ackermans, AYANA and PEP account cards online. Just remember to choose the A+ option during payment via Peach Payments.

Shopping

Can I use an in-store gift card/ virtual voucher online?

Unfortunately not. In-store gift cards/virtual vouchers can’t be used online.

Can I lay-buy items at Refinery?

Yes, lay-bys are available in stores only. A 10% deposit is required, and the lay-by is valid for 3 months. Lay-bys are only available in-store, not online. Find your nearest store here

Under 18 and want to shop online?

If you’re underage or don’t have your own card, a parent, guardian, or friend can place the order for you using their account and payment details, with your agreement to accept delivery.

Can I shop online without a credit card?

Yes, you can use a debit card or A+ Account card. 

We offer debit payment options via Visa, Mastercard, and Capitec Pay.

Can I change my order after placing it?

After payment, changes or cancellations aren’t possible. But don’t worry—you can return items you don’t want for a refund, in-store or online.

Can I add more products after confirming my order?

No, once payment is complete, you cannot add items to your order. To purchase additional products, please place a new order.

Can I cancel my order?

No, orders cannot be canceled after payment. However, you may return unwanted items for a refund, provided they are unworn, undamaged, and in their original packaging.

Can I place my order over the phone?

You can order on desktop or mobile, but it must be placed through our website. Please make sure you are only shopping from our verified site

Free delivery on online orders?

Enjoy free delivery on all orders in South Africa when spending R550 or more.

How can I track my order?

Use the tracking number from your order confirmation email. Then insert the order number here (insert tracking page link)  If you need help, contact our customer service team

Do I need to sign for delivery? What if I’m not home?

Yes, a signature is required. If you're not home, your order will return to our warehouse and a redelivery will be arranged - additional delivery fees may apply for a second or subsequent delivery attempt, as we do not deliver after normal working hours.

Do you deliver to my country?

Currently, we only deliver within South Africa.

Do you deliver to P.O. Box addresses?

No, we can’t deliver to P.O. Boxes because a signature is required on delivery.

I haven’t received my order. What should I do?

If you have not received our order after 12 days contact our customer service team and include your order number to help us locate it faster.

Can my order be delivered to a different address?

Yes! You can save and select multiple delivery addresses in your account. Please note, we’re unable to deliver to P.O. Boxes, hospitals, airports, or prisons.

When will I get confirmation that my order is on its way?

You’ll receive an email once your order has been picked, packed, and dispatched from our warehouse. Delivery can take up to 10 days. 

You can track your order using the tracking number from your confirmation email.

What if there’s a problem with my delivery?

If you have not received your items after 12 days, please contact our customer service team

Can I return an in-store purchase online?

No, in-store purchases must be returned in-store. Refunds can be made to a credit card, as a voucher, or in cash—but not to a debit card. Find the nearest store to you.

Only online purchases can be returned online. For that you can Log A Return https://www.refinerystore.co.za/a/returns ). 

You can return items bought online within 30 days. Items must be in their original condition and packaging.

How to do an online return?

Returns can take up to 7 working days to process.
Note: We don’t accept returns on pierced jewellery.

Can I exchange an item?

Yes, you can exchange items at your nearest store  

Please note: exchanges are not available online — only returns can be processed through our online platform. 

Also note that online purchase can be returned online. If you shopped in - store you must exchange or refund in - store.

If you purchased online, you can return your items either in-store or online within 30 days. Items must be unworn, undamaged, and returned in their original packaging and condition.

How do I access my online purchase invoice?

You need a registered online profile to view your orders and invoices. If you don’t have an account If you checked out as a guest, create an account with the same email used at checkout to link your order.

Once logged in, click your profile icon, find your order, and click view to see the invoice. You can print it or show it on your device in-store as proof of purchase.

I received a faulty/defective product. What should I do?

You can return items within 30 days of receipt. If your product is faulty/defective, return it for assessment. If it fails to give reasonable wear due to defects, we’ll refund your purchase price. See our return policy for more details.

I received the wrong product in my order. What now?

Where do I enter my promo/discount code?

You can enter one promo code per order at checkout.

How many times can I use the same promo code?

Usage limits depend on the specific promotion.

I'm a student, can I get a discount?

 Yes! We’ve partnered with Varsity Vibe to offer students 20% off in select stores (Monday–Sunday). For details and sign-up, visit varsityvibe.co.za.

We never access your card or banking details.
